Come hear some of her best secrets to networking, marketing yourself, and using the platform as a tool to expand your personal or professional brand and land the next step in your career.
Jasmine Burns is Head of People at Censys. She has spent the majority of her career in human resources and recruiting functions and has the privilege of gaining diversified experience in a range of companies from tech unicorns and scale ups. She's most passionate about progressive HR/recruiting practices and is obsessed with optimizing the people function with tools and systems while also defying the stereotype that often accompanies her profession. She also enjoys challenging fellow HR practitioners to not only think differently from traditional HR/recruiting practices but also to share their own wins and learnings with each other, which is why she agreed to join the first-ever HR Open Source Operating Board. In her free time she spends her time with her husband and golden retriever, enjoys traveling, baking, and is a true bleeder of maize and blue.
